At 453 meter or 1,483
feet tall, the Petronas Twin Tower has the crown as
the world's tallest buildings for seven years, now
it's Taiwan's Taipei 101 who claimed the throne in
2003.
The Petronas Twin Tower
rise 88 stories high, with 765 flights of stairs and
29 double-deck elevators apiece. The Petronas Twin
Tower are connected by a bridge 558 feet above the
ground.. The Petronas Twin Tower were built on
the site of an old horse-race track, and it's still
a speedy spot today; executive elevators in both
towers can go from the basement to the top of the
tower in 90 seconds.
